What is F.A.C.T.?

Foundation for the Advancement in Cancer Therapy (F.A.C.T.) is the sponsor of the new documentary film Rethinking Cancer and this website. Established in 1971, F.A.C.T. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization that supports non-toxic, biologically sound approaches to cancer prevention and treatment.  
 
F.A.C.T.'s goal is to educate practitioners and patients about a different concept of cancer and other chronic degenerative disease in the hope that the public will gain an understanding of all viable medical options.

About the Film

Rethinking Cancer is an educational documentary film that provides a rare look into the psychological and therapeutic journeys of five men and women who used biological therapies to overcome serious illness. Their stories represent successes that mainstream medicine and the public ought to know about.  
 
Four of the featured subjects had been diagnosed with cancer; two of these patients were considered terminal cases. The fifth patient had a severe case of Lyme disease. All five have outlived their diseases, between 15 and nearly 40 years, thus far.

After examining date on 44,788 pairs of twins, researchers report that, in most cases, environmental factors have the greatest effect on cancer risk. As reported in New England Journal of Medicine, researchers studied twins listed in Swedish, Danish, and Finnish registries, concluding that inherited genetic factors make a minimal contribution to cancer risk.
